I Have Been Banned. What Can I Do?

There are many methods to ban someone from a website, chat, forum, or game. Below are some common methods and solutions.

The best option to remove a ban is to apologize for your actions which led you to being banned.

1) Banned by IP Address

If you were banned by your IP address, you can try to change your IP address. Clear your cookies, and change your IP address.

2) Banned by Cookies

If you use Firefox 3.0+, you can click on Tools menu and select Clear Recent History, and then you can clean Cookies and other actions by clicking Clean Now button.

If you use Internet Explorer 8.0, you can click on Tools menu and select Delete Browsing History, and then you can clean Cookies and other action by clicking Delete button.

3) Banned by Unique Token

Mostly, online games use a unique token that is passed during online gaming session. The token is usually related directly or indirectly to CD key of the game. After you uninstall and re-install the game, you get around being banned.

Some online game website use plug-in application such as Flash. By uninstalling the plug-ins and re-installing it and you may pass the ban.

4) Banned by Common Information

Some websites will ban others based on email address, passwords, credit card numbers, physical address, and more. The only way to get around the ban is to create a new account without using the same information.
