What is a Web Browser?
Web browser, or short as, Browser is a software application that used by user for locate and access web pages. It translates basic HTML code that allows user to see image, text, music, and video on web site.
The browser sent request to web server for information and the web server received the request and displayed the information on the computer.
There are many browsers on the Internet today, but all of them have the same basic function; they all translate hypertext. For example, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Flock, etc.
Each web browser features similar toolbar with common functions like: Go Back, Refresh, Bookmark or Add to Favorite, Print content, Check browsing history, Go Forward, Go Backward, etc.
Two basic ways you can use to navigate through the web browser:
1) Click on the link on the page, and it will lead to another web page or web site.
2) If you know the URL of web site address, you can type it in web address box on the top of web browser, then press ENTER and it will bring you to that web site.
Web pages can be looked differently in various types of web browser.
