What is DDoS Attack?

And the system becomes flooded with request for information from non-users, and more likely, no-visitors to that web server. The goal of this attack is to make a large enough of false traffic to slow down and delay the server. This means legitimate users will experience slow response or even cannot access to the server.

DDoS works effectively by the processed that is highly automated on the attacker’s side. Customized software is being used to flood the targeted server with false traffic, and it may run on as many computers possible. There are some types of this software as a virus, which it spreads to other users’ machines. And these users unwillingly aid to the DDoS attack without knowing anything.
